Used in the natural gas, oil, water and other processes for control and safety systems to operate the closing or opening of valves when presented at over or under pressure. Pneumatic control equipment has a local adjustment through knobs; the electropneumatic is made by software and can be configured remotely. The pneumatically controlled ones do not need energy to operate while the electropneumatic ones require energy to operate.
