Platform modules
Integrity
NOVO connects remotely from the desktop application at the control center or via web access with cathodic protection systems and test point devices to receive information for automatically adjusting rectifiers required to achieve perfect protection across the entire pipeline. All alarms are sent in real time for high/low or lack of protection levels.
Gas Quality
For mission-critical operations, real-time alarms are sent to NOVO for low odorant in tank, pump failure, low voltage and more. NOVO ensures the proper odorant level at all points in the network. Reports can be configured per user requirements to deliver gas quality information needed for real-time decisions.
Measurement
Automated measurement auditing compares two consumption measurements in real time and generates alarms when they differ — often used to detect fraud or non-technical losses. NOVO is also compatible with low-power automatic meter reading, and the variable tracker monitors any operational value continuously vs. its projected normal behavior.
Security
1,000 levels of operator privileges let administrators configure exactly what each user can see, control and when they can access it. Uses high-security transactional databases (SQL Server) with disaster recovery, hot stand-by servers and real-time backup — no data is lost when a server or communication media fails.
Technical & Non-Technical Losses (Fraud)
Critical analysis of operational and historical data to automatically detect possible non-technical losses in real time. Upper and lower consumption limits are configurable by the administrator, with alarms routed to the appropriate responders.
Commercial
Nomination prediction, settlement and billing tools that integrate bi-directionally with corporate ERP and finance systems, closing the loop between field operations and commercial workflows.
